The half-pipe section allows the players to show off their skill to go through faster if they want, and feels really smooth. The track feels like its going by quickly, and since it loops back on itself, unlike MK7 (which also makes it feel faster), it shows off its more detailed background to more effect. The start, diving towards the earth, is also an excellent entrance. MK Wii rainbow road is better to race on, and is as good or better aesthetically in my opinion. The Spiral looks really bad, and the mushroom is meh. The moon section is garbage, the saturn rings are good enough gameplay-wise, but are way too dull, and the track feels much too wide and empty. MK7 rainbow road is more style than substance, and due to its empty background for most of the track, fails on style too.
